Who qualifies

WA manufacturers in five target sectors

You must actively operate a commercial scale manufacturing business in WA, within or supplying manufactured products into one of these sectors:

  • Clean energy
  • Critical minerals
  • Defence and space
  • Food and beverage
  • Health and medical life sciences

What does not qualify

A high electricity bill alone does not qualify a business. Installation, retail, distribution or warehousing alone does not establish manufacturing eligibility.

Projects must also demonstrate a measurable energy benefit for the manufacturing operation.
