Our story
People who power a brighter tomorrow.
15 years and more than 20,000 installs. West State Solar has done this longer and at greater scale than almost anyone still selling solar in WA. Commercial and residential, installed end to end by our own licensed team, based in Perth.
Who we are
Depth is the whole point
While the market fills up with newcomers chasing the battery boom, West State has quietly installed more systems, for more years, than the people who arrived last week. Newcomers can buy leads. They cannot buy a track record like ours.
The referrals come because the market knows and trusts the individuals, not a logo. Between the team there is well over a century of combined personal experience, in an industry where everyone knows everyone.
We also train the industry. WSE has brought through many of WA’s accredited solar installers, and we keep taking on apprentices to train the next wave. We see growing people as a genuine contribution to the trade and the WA economy.

Master Electricians Solar Project of the Year, 2023
Recognition from the industry body that sets the standard, for a project the team is genuinely proud of. It is the kind of result that comes from doing the work properly, on the tools, not from chasing an award.

Training the next generation
We grow the industry, we don’t just take from it
Over 70 apprentices have come through West State Solar, and many have gone on to run their own companies or install across WA. We keep taking on apprentices to train the next wave on the systems being deployed now.
We also work with local schools on work placements, giving high school students real time on the tools and an honest look at a career in the trade, helping bridge the gap between school and a job.
Plus school work placements each year, bringing new people into the WA trade.
